Over one million euro has been granted for improvement and maintanance works on Clare roads.

The funding is part of a 160 million euro allocation from Transport Infrastructure Ireland, formerly the NRA.
220,000 euro has been earmarked for road improvements in the county, while more than 791,000 euro has been allocated for road maintanance.
The funding, which will be drawn down over the coming year is being welcomed by Clare Fine Gael TD Pat Breen.
