The ESB Has confirmed that over 700 customers across Clare will remain without power tonight as restoration works continue across the county.
Storm Darragh brought winds of up to 120 kilometres per hour, causing significant damage to both electricity poles and large parts of the network.

At its peak over 16,000 customers in Clare were left without electricity, with approximately 1,500 homes and business currently experiencing blackouts.
ESB Technical Manager Michael Sammin, outlines which parts of the county are expected to be without power overnight.
