The latest analysis of this county’s residential housing stock shows that 684 new addresses were registered here in the year to June.
In the month of June, meanwhile, a further 664 new homes were under construction.
The number of new properties registered in Clare, represented a 31% increase on the housing stock added to the county, the previous year.
Despite this, Clare’s residential vacancy rate still sits above the national average at 5.1%, while Clare’s dereliction rate of 5% was the 9th highest in the country.
