Loop Head Lighthouse has broken its own record and welcomed over 20,000 visitors in 2014.
Clare County Council is crediting the launch of the Wild Atlantic Way, new routes into Shannon Airport and excellent summer weather for bringing thousands of tourists to the West Clare landmark.
