Over 170 households in Clare received tenancy support services in the final three months of last year.
Housing advocacy group Threshold says it provided support to 178 households at the end of 2024 affecting 413 people, 159 of which were children, with 48% of the issues raised related to tenancy termination.
67 of the households which sought support were deemed to be at serious risk of losing their homes, with the residents of 41 of those prevented from becoming homeless.
CEO, John-Mark McCafferty, says the new government should implement the register of rental prices early in the tenure, while the main priority should be homelessness prevention.
