Meanwhile, ESB crews are continuing their efforts to re-connect the hundreds of Clare homes still without power following Wednesday's storm.

Over 1,000 people are now disconnected, a number which has risen after additional faults were recorded in the Miltown Malbay/Connolly/Quilty area, as well as in Newmarket on Fergus.
Those customers should have power restored today, but at least 200 Clare homes will be in the dark yet again tonight, and for some it will be Wednesday before issues are rectified.
Meanwhile, issules with the cuonty's water supply have now largely been cleared.
