Clare's Oscar Traynor side are being honoured with a civic reception this evening.
Clare County Council is hosting players and management of the Clare & District League soccer team following their win in the 2016 FAI Oscar Traynor Cup.
Their 5-2 win over the Leinster Senior League in the final was just Clare's second ever victory in the competition, with man of the match Dave McCarthy finding the net four times.
The ceremony, which is the highest honour that can be bestowed by the council is taking place at Áras Contae an Chláir from 6.45pm.
