Organisers of suicide awareness walk say thanks

The organisers of a fundraising walk for suicide prevention services in the MidWest have paid tribute to those who took part in the event.

The proceeds of the Darkness into Light event have now been presented to Suicide and Self-Harm Prevention group Pieta House, and over 27,700 euro was raised for the group by the 1,100 people from across the county, including Clare hurling boss Davy Fitzgerald, who took part in the event in May.
