The Minister with responsibility for the OPW is to visit flood affected areas of south east Clare.
Sean Canney will meet residents in Springfield, Clonlara on Monday next, following disappointment expressed locally over efforts to resolve flooding issues there
The minister will also visit Ballycar, Newmarket on Fergus – another area where residents have had to live with frequent flooding.
There has been a broad welcome for the visit – Springfield resident Gerardine Quinlivan says solutions are needed.
