The General Manager of the Midwest Covid-19 Vaccine Centres is reassuring they won’t hesitate to consider opening more clnics in Clare, if there’s demand.
The venue of Clare’s COVID-19 vaccination centre is temporarily changing location, with boosters being offered to people aged between 50 and 69 at Treacy’s West County Hotel in Ennis on Saturday and Sunday.
People in this age cohort can receive a third Pfizer dose between 8.30am and 7pm on Saturday, and on Sunday from 1pm to 7pm.
Overall 99,000 covid-19 vaccines have been administered in Clare, with 8,000 boosters and Irene O’Connor says if there’s a need to increase capacity, all options will be explored.
