Opponents to the Northern Distributor Road which will divide the village of Parteen say they will continue their campaign as the council considers submissions from the public.

Around 100 people lined the streets of Parteen over the weekend to highlight the effect of the road which will cut through the centre of the village, on the local community and the environment.
The closing date for submissions for people in Clare was Friday but Limerick submissions are being accepted until the close of business today.
