One In Ten Midwest Workers On Minimum Wage

Nearly 12,000 people in the MidWest are earning the national minimum wage, or less.

That’s according to new figures from the CSO, who have found that the figure equates to just under 10% of all workers here.

The release shows that fewer people are earning less than the national minimum wage, but that women are more likely than men to fall into that bracket.
