One mobile phone is stolen in Clare every four days, on average, according to new figures released by Gardaí.
The statistics show that 163 phones were reported stolen in Clare since the beginning of last year, and that they are among 11,500 phones stolen nationally in tha ttime.
They have a combined value of around 5 million euro, but Gardaí say only 10 per cent are recovered.
