One person has been taken to hospital following a road traffic crash on the N18 in Clare this morning.
The single car collision happened on the Southbound lane, between Junction 4 Cratloemoyle and Junction 5 Cratloe, around quarter past five this morning.

One person has been taken by ambulance to University Hospital Limerick, as a precautionary measure.
Units from Clare County Fire Service and Gardaí are at the scene.
Traffic has been reduced to one lane, but the road is due to fully re-open in the next half hour.
Gardaí are advising motorists to slow down and drive with caution.
