Only One COVID-19 Case At Region’s Main Hospital

There is now just one confirmed case of COVID-19 in the region’s main hospital.

The latest figures from the Health Service show that one patient in the hospital has a confirmed case of the coronavirus, and that there are no confirmed cases of the disease among the patients in its critical care unit.

There are 20 suspected cases of the virus at UHL, but even that figure has fallen significantly in recent days, and figures over recent weeks suggest that most of the suspected cases turn out to test negative.

None of the suspected cases are in the hospital’s intensive care unit.
