One Of Clare’s Largest Creches Urges Minister to Overturn Resources Decision

The Manager of one of Clare’s largest creches is warning that its future is in doubt because of a cut in government supports.

The Clare Family Resource Centre, a community creche and registered charity based in Ennis, employs some staff via the Community Employment Scheme, which is designed to help people who are long-term unemployed to get back to work

However, management have now been told that funding to allow them employ four people through the scheme will be pulled from the end of next week.
