The Olympic Flame has completed its short visit to the Republic of Ireland.

It crossed the border outside Newry early this morning – before an official welcome ceremony in Howth in North Dublin.
Thousands of people then lined the streets of the capital as the Flame was taken on a whistle-stop tour – by 40 hand-picked torch-bearers.
