Older Priests “Won’t Be Obliged” To Return When Churches Re-Open

Older priests in the Diocese of Killaloe won’t be obliged to return to saying mass when churches re-open, if they’re not comfortable in doing so.

Bishops have published guidelines for churches to follow once public worship returns from June 29th.

As part of the measures, Priests and eucharist ministers will now have to wear face coverings and sanitise their hands before handing out communion.
