Oireachtas Committee Told Ennis, Nenagh and St. John’s Hospitals Must Be Given Equal Priority

An Oireachtas committee has heard that Ennis, Nenagh and St. John’s hospitals must be given equal priority when it comes to the reopening of emergency departments.

The Midwest Hospitals Campaign Group appeared before the Joint Committee on Public Petitions yesterday to lobby for the reinstatement of the facilities as Model 3 hospitals.

It’s the first time the group has had the opportunity to directly address government representatives since its inception in 2019.
