Oireachtas Committee To Grill Department Figure On Shannon Military Use

The Chairman of the Oireachtas Petitions committee says it is concerned about the US Military's use of Shannon Airport and the impact on Irish Neutrality.

Members of the group visited Shannon in October, and met with airport management and local Gardaí.

As a result, they've identified an issue around Government Policy and today they will question the Secretary General of the Department of Foreign Affairs.
