The bodies of 65 year old Michael Galvin, a married father of three and Noel Dickinson, his neighbour in Seaview, Quilty who was in his thirties were located yesterday following extensive searches of the area.

The men had failed to return on the Lady Eileen Trawler as scheduled and inquiries are now underway to establish what happened to the 26 foot fishing vessel.

The grieving Galvin and Dickinson families are now finalising funeral arrangements for both Michael and Noel, as locals in Quilty and the surrounding areas mourn their loss.

Kilmurray Ibrickane Parish Priest, Fr Pat. Larkin, says the support of the local community will be of comfort to them in the difficult days ahead.
