Ireland's road safety chief is warning that being distracted by a mobile while driving 'borders on addiction' for some people.
Liz O'Donnell says the problem of distracted drivers is getting worse, especially those using their phones behind the wheel.

In her first report as head of the Road Safety Authority, Ms O'Donnell highlighted the organisation's own research which showed 1 in 12 people admit to the habit.
