Monthly records for the Shannon Airport weather station are broadly in line with the national statistics, and show that only 47% of the average monthly rainfall was recorded there.
Temperatures were slightly warmer than normal, but in spite of this October only saw 79% of typical sunshine amounts in the Banner County.
