A Shannon family business has brought the curtain down on 49 years of service to their local community.
Two generations of O’Connors had operated the Texaco service station in Tullyvarraga since 1976.

The business was bought outright by Darragh and Shirley O’Connor in 2011, and has this month been sold on to new owners.
Darragh says turning off the lights for the final time was a hugely emotional moment.
