Gardaí and Dublin City Council have cleared the Occupy Dame Street camp.

The joint operation began at around three o’clock this morning.
Upwards of fifty Gardaí were involved.
The camp was set up late last year, as part of a campaign across several countries.
The Tourism Minister yesterday said the campaigners should relocate the camp for a few days for the St Patrick’s Day festival.
