Obair is appealing for volunteers to aid with its expansion across Clare.
The community organisation, which has been based in Newmarket-on-Fergus for 30 years, provides around 200 service users with Meals on Wheels over seven days a week.

It will be expanding into areas across East, West and North Clare in the new year, with the support of HSE Mid West Community Healthcare which will allow it to provide an additional 160 meals a day to older people in the community.
Community Development Officer with Obair, Siobhan O’Driscoll is stressing that it will be dependent on volunteers in each community.
