One of Ireland’s most famous singers is to come to County Clare this weekend in her search for love.

Clare FM has learnt that Sinead O’Connor will come to the famous Lisdoonvarna matchmaking festival this weekend, and is booked into stay at a hotel in the North Clare town from Friday until Sunday.
In recent weeks, she has said she will come to North Clare in her hopes of finding a man, but resident matchmaker Willie Daly says she’ll receive no special treatment on her arrival.
