Nurses At UHL Very Concerned Over Bed Numbers

The General Seretary of the INMO says nurses are very concerned over their ability to provide safe care to patients, at the region's main hospital, over the coming months.

It comes as the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation is to ballot its members on industrial action next month, if significant progress isn't made on critical emergency department issues.

Liam Doran says he doesn't accept that enough money has been put into dealing with overcrowding and he insists that nurses at University Hospital Limerick are facing into a very difficult winter.
