Nursing staff at University Hospital Limerick are reporting some of the highest levels of overcrowding of any hospital in Ireland today.

40 patients are being treated on trolleys or in overflow areas of wards at Dooradoyle, including 21 people in the hospital's Emergency Department.
Daily trolleywatch figures from the INMO show the total figure is the second highest of any hospital in the country, and only one less than the busiest in Drogheda.
