Numbers On Trolleys Fall At UHL

Hospital trolleys

The number of patients waiting on trolleys has fallen again today at the region’s main hospital.

The latest figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation show that 15 patients, all in the emergency department, were waiting on trolleys at University Hospital Limerick this morning, down from 39 at the beginning of the week.

That’s the second-highest of any hospital in Ireland, trailing Cork University Hospital.
