Numbers Of Covid Patients At UHL Falls To Lowest Point In Three Weeks

The number of people with Covid-19 at the region’s main hospital has fallen to its lowest point since January 6th.

There were 77 patients being treated for the virus at University Hospital Limerick this morning, a drop of ten in the space of 24 hours.

They’re among 1,418 people with the virus on wards at hospitals across the country today.

The overall figure is a seven percent decrease on yesterday’s total, while its down 22 percent on this day last week.

Figures show last night there were 206 patients in ICUs with the disease, 13 of those at Dooradoyle.
