The number of people claiming the Pandemic Unemployment Payment in Clare is continuing to fall to its lowest rate since the onset of the virus.
3,385 people in this county received the State support this week, down by 64 on the seven days prior.

It’s nearly a 70 percent drop on the peak number of employees availing of the PUP in Clare this year, which stood at over 11 thousand back in February.
Nationally, the number of recipients of the support has fallen below 150,000 for the first time this week.
