The number of people on trolleys at University Hospital Limerick has hit 90 for the second time this week.
Figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation show the level of overcrowding at the Dooradoyle facility remains extremely high, heading into the weekend.

57 patients were waiting for beds in the Emergency Department as of this morning according to the INMO figures, with a further 33 in overflow areas of wards.
The overall figure is 36 more than the next busiest facility – University Hospital Galway, on a day when 470 patients were waiting to be admitted nationwide.
