The number of people staying local in Clare has again fallen slightly.
New CSO data shows 56 percent of people stayed within 10 kilometres of their home in the week up to the 26th of March, down one percent on the week before.

Only five counties had higher percentage drops of people staying close to their locality in the same seven day period.
Clare’s overall percentage of people staying within 10k of their homes is more than eight percent below the current national average.
