Number Of People In Clare Receiving The PUP Continues To Fall To Lowest Levels

There has been another fall in the number of people receiving the Pandemic Unemployment Payment in Clare in the past seven days.

On the 21st of September, 2,537 people in Clare received the PUP which is 99 less than the same day the week before.

There has been a significant decrease in the number of PUP payments in Clare since the peak in May 2020, which was recoreded at 14,869.

Nationally 110,700 people received the Pandemic Unemployment Payment this week, a fall of 3,842 on last week.
