The number of people in Clare in receipt of some form of unemployment benefit has risen by more than 8% in a month.
A total of 4,018 Clare residents were on the Live Register in July compared to 3,702 in June.

The surge of 8.5% between June and July is notably larger than the 5% increase seen here in the same months in 2023.
