Number of Homeless Children Increases In Mid-West

There’s been a marginal fall in the number of homeless adults in Clare and the MidWest.

The latest Department of Housing statistics show 66 adults homeless in Clare last month – that’s down from 68 in August, but an increase from 48 on the same time last year.

There has also been a monthly fall of 16 in the number of adults homeless in the MidWest.

There has been an increase, however, in the number of children who are homeless in this region, with that figure rising by six in the past month.
