The number of convictions for burglary offences in Clare fell dramatically last year.
Figures released through the Oireachtas show just eight such offences where convictions took place were recorded here last year, with seven of those taking place in Ennis and one in Killaloe.

That compares to 20 similar convictions in 2020 and 27 back in 2019.
105 burglaries in Clare have resulted in convictions since January 2017, with 76 people convicted in relation to these offences.
