NTA CEO Says Funding Unavailable For Barefield N18 Exit Measures This Year

The CEO of the National Transport Authority says funding is not available this year for improvement works on Barefield’s N18 exit.

It follows concerns raised that cars have lost control at the site coming off of the dual carriageway at an angle while travelling at high speeds.

The NTA has told a meeting of the Oireachtas Transport Committee, which includings a number of Clare representatives, that they will undertake a review of the particular exit if required.
