A new study has suggested it's now cheaper to buy a house rather than rent in Munster.
A study from Daft.ie shows that in the second quarter of this year, it was more expensive to rent a property in 80 per cent of 54 areas around the country.
Figures showed in Munster the average saving was €185
The Housing Agency says it shows the Central Bank's lending rules are working.
