A Clare government TD has criticised the lack of notice given to patients of day care centres in Tuamgraney and Kilrush about their closure.
Deputy Joe Carey was speaking during a Dáil debate on the issue, in which Junior Minister Kathleen Lynch said the decision was also announced last Friday afternoon because last-ditch efforts to get relief nursing staff had been taking place.
