Norwegian Airlines looks set to suspend its Shannon-Providence service this winter.
The low-cost carrier, which began operating in Ireland last year, has decided to suspend winter flights to Providence from Shannon, Cork and Edinburgh, according to a report in The Irish Examiner.

The airline has told the paper that the decision, which will take effect from late October, this is due to “lower demand”
In February, Norwegian doubled flights on the Shannon-Providence route, and added an additional flight to Stewart Airport, near New York.
