It's after the US Transportation Department granted approval to the low fares airlines last weekend to commence flights between Ireland and the United States, following a three year campaign.
Work on delivering the new service has already begun, in the hope of announcing new routes to cities like New York and Boston early in the new year.
Norwegian was one of the first companies to offer low cost long haul flights, and the Airline's Head of Communications in the UK, Stuart Buss says they're hoping to replicate that in their routes from Shannon
