North Clare Village Seek ‘Halt’ To Refugee Accommodation Requests

Residents of a North Clare village are seeking a ‘halt’ to requests to accommodate Ukrainian refugees.

Ballyvaughan Community Development group has written to Minister Roderic O’Gorman, asking for an urgent meeting to discuss the supports needed for the refugees that have already been placed there.

The group has received an acknowledgement of their letter, however, a further 22 refugees have been located to the North Clare town this week.
