A Clare village has picked up an award at the Supervalu TidyTowns awards this afternoon.
At the high-profile ceremony in Croke Park, Corofin Tidy Towns has been presented with the Young Persons in TidyTowns award.

Carrick-on-Shannon in County Leitrim has been named the overall winner of the competition as well as the Tidiest Small Town while Rosscarbery in Cork has taken the gong of Tidiest Village.
Dalkey in County Dublin has been given the title of Tidiest Large Town, Tralee in Kerry is the winner of the Tidiest Large Urban Cenre award and Carraig Airt in Donegal has won the Gaeltacht Award.
