North Clare Vet Makes Calls For New Industry School To Be Set Up In Midwest

A North Clare vet is making calls for an education facility for the industry to be set up in the Midwest.

The Government will shortly decide the location of the new veterinary school, with UCD currently being the only location in the country to offer expert training in the field.

Many students are travelling to the likes of Poland and Hungary for their degrees, with more than 580 applications submitted for 85 places on offer last year.
