Elderly North Clare residents have been offered the chance to avail of grant funding to improve their home security.
Gardai in Ennistymon and Milltown, in conjunction with Neighbourhood Watch, are offering people a chance to apply for funds to install features in their homes.

The scheme is not means tested and is open to single people or couples aged over 65
Funds can be used for a range of security devices, such as the installation of a socially monitored alarm, locks on doors or windows, external lighting or smoke alarm.
