North Clare Publican Calling For PUP To Be Scrapped

A North Clare publican is calling for the Pandemic Unemployment Payment to be scrapped with immediate effect.

The phasing out of the state support is underway, with further cuts planned for November and February.

There are currently more than 2,500 people in Clare still availing of the PUP.
