North Clare Plans ‘To Be Realised’ Under New Ukraine Community Funding

A North Clare Councillor says funding being allocated to the area as a result of its number of Ukrainian arrivals will allow local plans to be realised more quickly.

The 50 million euro Community Recognition Fund will support a range of projects, including the refurbishment of sports clubs, the upgrade of community facilities and enhancing school infrastructure.

The funding is being spread across all local authorities based on the number of new arrivals located there, meaning Clare will receive a significant chunk of the allocation.
