An evaluation of Ruan National School has told its board to ensure that the practice is not in line with Department guidlines, and should be reviewed.
The recommendation comes in an otherwise largely positive report into Ruan School, which praised the high quality overall learning experiences of the pupils and the work of the board of management and other staff.
Principal Cyril Lyons is pleased with the results of the review.
